Suarez: Barca fans need to keep the faith

_77032345_luis_suarez_barca_gettySummer signing Luis Suarez has urged Barca fans to stay positive following back to back La Liga defeats.

The Catalan giants suffered a damaging 3-1 defeat to fierce rivals Real Madrid two weeks ago and followed this up  with a 1-0 home defeat to Spanish minnows Celta Vigo.

The Uruguay international Luis Suarez has recently returned from a lengthy suspension after infamously committing another ‘biting offence’ in the 2014 World Cup and has spoke of his club’s ‘bad luck’ recently which has attributed to the dip in form. Suarez himself had ample opportunities to equalise for Los Blaugraunes last Saturday whilst his teammates Neymar and Lionel Messi both hit the post twice.

“Sometimes football is just unfair,” Suarez said. “When the ball doesn’t want to go in, it doesn’t go in.

“We didn’t have the necessary luck against Celta but we need to keep believing in ourselves. We want to turn this around and win titles because we are the best team in the world.”

FC Barca are in action against Ajax tomorrow evening as they go in pursuit of winning their first Champions League trophy since 2010. If you feel Luis Enrique’s men can pick up a vital three points in this tricky away tie, you can back them at Paddy Power and take advantage of their Paddy Power accumulator bonus should you want to combine a Barcelona win with other results in a multiple bet.
