FC Barcelona target Neymar can be ‘the best in the world’ – Ronaldo

Brasil National Team and Santos striker Neymar, who is a target for the likes of Barcelona, Chelsea and Real Madrid, has been told he can become “the best player in the world” by moving to Europe.

The 19-year-old is expected to leave Santos next year, with a number of clubs from across Europe keen on luring him away from South America.
Barca and Real Madrid are widely seen as favourites to sign the £40million-rated forward, while Chelsea, Manchester City and AC Milan are also believed to be keen.
And according to former Brazil striker Ronaldo, the teenager should look to secure a move to Europe as soon as possible.
He told ESPN: “Leaving aside selflessness and patriotism, Neymar has to look at the things which will help him conquer the world.
“If he can play in Europe the way he does in Brazil, very soon he would be the best player in the world.”
The 35-year-old, who moved to Europe when he was aged just 17, added. “It is clear that if Neymar came to me for advice I would say the best thing is to go to Europe and choose the best team for him.
“I hope Neymar is intelligent and is not just limited to Brazil.”
Ronaldo retired back in February after his club at the time, Corinthians, were eliminated from the 2011 Copa Libertadores.
