Barça hold Fabregas Future in their Hands

cesc-fabregas-spike-hairstyles2With Manchester United tabling a bid in the region of £26m for Barcelona playmaker, Cesc Fabregas, the Blaugrana have a massive decision to make before the start of the next La Liga campaign.

The Spain international, after admittedly a relatively slow start to his return to the Camp Nou, showed signs of what he is capable of with the Catalan giants last season.

His performances clearly did not go unnoticed and now United boss, David Moyes, is determined to lure the 26-year-old to Old Trafford.

Having made his name with Arsenal, Fabregas has often stated it would be hard to return to the Premier League if it was not to rejoin the Gunners.

The talented midfielder has said repeatedly that he has no intentions to leave the Camp Nou anytime soon but much will depend on manager Tito Vilanova’s plans for the future.

With Xavi and Andres Iniesta edging towards the end of their careers, Fabregas could see his role in the middle of the park grow more important in time.

However, whether he is willing to wait and whether Vilanova sees the player as being at the heart of the future of Barca, is still up for debate.

There is no doubting that Fabregas would be a quality signing for the Red Devils and the chance to reunite with his former Arsenal teammate, Robin van Persie could be tempting.

The scenario of Barca accepting an offer for his services could force his hand but it will be a case of ‘watch this space’, regarding whether Fabregas will be a Blaugrana player come the start of the La Liga campaign.
